What We Inspect

We do our best to identify any issues with the property we are inspecting. We document these issues in our detailed reports, which consist of color photographs and illustrations that are ready for you within 1-2 days after the inspection.

 

Structure & Foundation

The condition of the attic and basement are the most overlooked areas when you are looking for your new home. We will examine these areas for:

• Foundation and structural concerns, including leaks, water damage, rot, and signs of insect damage
• Ventilation of the attic and crawlspace
• Insulation in unfinished areas

 
 

Heating & Cooling

We will check the heating and cooling source for its overall condition and age, making sure you’ll stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Roof

The roof is the first line of defense against water intrusion. We will describe:

• The roof surface and its condition
• The roof drainage system
• Flashings
• Skylights

From the location and condition of your main shut-off valve, to the age and size of your water heater, we will thoroughly check the pipes and make sure everything is operating normally.
